Meithrinfa Bach Hapus is a new bilingual nursery situated in the stunning location of Llanfairpwll on Anglesey. Established in 2011, the nursery originally opened in Star but relocated to new premises. The nursery aims to provide high quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 8 years in a caring and inclusive environment. As our logo states children will be ‘Learning through discovery and play’.
We understand the decision to place your child/children in a nursery setting can be a daunting and emotional time. Here at Meithrinfa Bach Hapus we make it our priority to ensure your child recieves all the love, care and attention that they do at home. We ultimately care for their well-being and happiness as we understand a child will not be able to grow if they do not first feel loved and comfortable in their surroundings.
The nursery is easily accessible from numerous routes on and off the Island; it is accessible by foot, bus and car, and there is also a bike rack available outside to encourage parents to walk with their children riding to nursery.
The aims that the nursery always set out to achieve are embedded throughout the setting and all staff are aware and meet them to a high standard.
Our objective is to provide high quality childcare and nursery education in a safe, nurturing and stimulating care environment. We give priority to the development, needs and happiness of our children and their families. The Nursery believes that this quality can be achieved by working together in partnership with the parents and carers of each child we take care of at Meithrinfa Bach Hapus.
The nursery allows children to select their own play activities, as well as those planned for their personal development. We promote a learning environment both indoors and outdoors to give your children the ability to become confident, independent learners and ultimately prepared for the move to “big school”. The nursery believes in allowing the children to discover experiences first hand as it has been proven we all learn best from actually doing.
